Anniversary and Snow!!!

Today is our anniversary and the first time in 36 years that we haven't gone out with our friends, who share this anniversary, for dinner.  All thanks to Covid!!  Instead we got to stay home and we made nachos for dinner!  It was really good!

We had over 2 feet of snow over the last 24 hours!  Thanks to great neighbours and our granddaughters husband we didn't have to do any of the shovelling.  We are very fortunate.

I think we are guaranteed a white Christmas!!!

  1. You get a lot more snow than we do! I once stayed on a farm in Canada. They told me how in winter they dug a tunnel to the cow shed and how you could see where the road ran by the tops of the telegraph poles.

Socialising is strange isn't it? I miss seeing my friends (who I treasure and love) but a small part of me doesn't miss having to make the effort involved in socialising!

    1. Where abouts in Canada did you stay? We do get a lot of snow but it's not constant, and we are very lucky because we get the Chinook winds.

  4. Happy Anniversary! Yikes, two feet of snow is way too much for me. We got 8 centimeters yesterday and likely another one or two today. I'll be heading out to shovel in the next hour or so.

    Take care and stay well!

    1. Thank you Maebeme. Yes, way too much snow. Of course the side streets wont be plowed so we have one track down the middle and you're in trouble if you have to get out of the track to let someone get by. Fun and games-NOT!!!

  5. Happy Anniversary.

Not much snow here in Southeast Saskatchewan, but enough to actually say we are going to have a white Christmas.

    God bless.
