We have had deer on our street for many many years but I don't remember ever seeing two bucks together. Usually just one with his ladies. No ladies today, just the boys!
They were snacking on the fallen fruit from the crab apple tree across the street.
They've moved on down the street to eat another neighbours flowers! Oh dear, she won't be happy!!
All we ever see on the streets here are does, with the occasional fawn. The last few days we have a bush bunny in the yard. So little, and I hope to get it as tame as I have others over the years.

DeleteWe only see the deer in the winter when they cannot find a food source outside of town. I'm guessing these deer have become accustomed to a city diet. :)
ReplyDeleteWe have lived here over 45 years and there has always been deer around the community. We see them year round. They have become quite accustomed to people and cars going by.
