You would think when you get 9 weeks summer holidays I would get lots accomplished. But, I have only one week left and I still have so much to do!! I think I spend the first part of July saying to myself 'oh what's the hurry, there's lots of time left'. July was so hot here that I couldn't get anything done in the yard-and I had such a long list. August we went away on vacation for a couple of weeks to British Columbia and Washington. Came home, I've done a little yard work, made some curtains and pillowcases and I'm going to have to think really hard to think of what else I've done. Oh, I've probably knit 5 or 6 kids vest. I did start this blog but I also wanted to start an etsy shop as well. I'm still a little leary about the method of payment, but I'll have to figure something out.
I did discover, on our trip, that taking pictures out of a moving car is not as easy as it seems. I have many pictures of what I didn't want . The above pictures are of the Rocky Mountains. See all the snow on them. The picture of the lake with the lumber mill is at Salmon Arm in B.C. and the third is Lake Okanagan B.C.
I haven't figures out how to move the pictures around within the post yet. That's why they are all at the top, cause that's where they showed up!!
Time to go and read a bunch of blogs. Bye for now.
What beautiful pictures. I don't know how to move them around either..along with a million other things about blogging!
ReplyDeleteHi Jan, changing your name won't work, we'll still find you! :)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about feeling you haven't achieved much, I've been off for 5 weeks over the summer but couldn't really tell you what I've done other than sit at the PC far more than I should!
To move your pictures, left click and hold it down on the picture, then drag them to where you want them in the text. You'll have to move the text back up to the top of the page, it doesn't do it automatically. Good luck!
wow what great photos and what a great a place to visit !!
ReplyDeletei wish we had 9 weeks holiday :0)
